On Tuesday August 31 North Coast EMS received notice of  the successful validation of EPCIS CEMSIS data by the State EMS Authority.  This is a first for California as no other Local EMS Agency has yet marked this achievement.

North Coast EMS and both the Chief of the EMS Systems Division and the CEMSIS Project Manager for the State EMS Authority have already thanked Jay Myhre, the creator EPCIS, for his tireless efforts and for the help he has provided us and the State in overcoming challenges the State EMS Authority encountered with their system.  Jay helped prove their system will work.

We at North Coast EMS also express our gratitude and congratulations to the North Coast EMS prehospital personnel, ALS provider agencies and base hospitals for their support in the development and implementation of CEMSIS compliant EPCIS.   You have helped move California EMS into the information age.  This success belongs to you!
