Peace Officer Transports – Eureka

Once a person is placed on a 5150 hold the Officer will assess for safe transport methods. The options include:

• Officer transports in vehicle
• Call for ambulance transport
• Follows behind ambulance, or rides in ambulance if safety is an issue.

Officers stay until a safe and orderly hand-off is completed.
