North Coast Emergency Medical Services Policies and Procedures

II.Purpose

To establish a process for billing for goods or services.

III.Policy

  1. Most services or products that North Coast EMS attaches fees to are to be pre-paid.
  2. In the event that credit is allowed, or a purchase order is used, a bill will be sent after the service or product is received.
  3. If payment is not received, a second bill will be sent the following month.
  4. A third bill marked “overdue” will be sent one month later.
  5. If a third notice is required, credit will not be extended to that party in the future.
