Disagreements between medical staff and Humboldt County Behavioral Health staff, before the individual has been admitted to the Psychiatric Health Facility, or disagreements over an individual not meeting 5150 admission criteria to the Psychiatric Health Facility, should be handled by having the Emergency Room physician discuss the issue with the on-duty psychiatric physician/prescriber or Administrator on-call at the Psychiatric Health Facility to resolve the dispute. |
